A man has died after a single-vehicle collision on Highway 98.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, an 86-year-old man was heading east on Highway 98 on the exit ramp to Airey Avenue when he struck a concrete island.
The truck continued east onto the curb under the overpass where the front of the vehicle collided with the overpass before stopping.
Authorities say the man was not responsive and was then transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The FHP was assisted by Tyndall Airforce Base on scene.
