Miami powerlifting influencer arrested for battery after fight with boyfriend

Miami powerlifting influencer arrested for battery after fight with boyfriend

A popular Miami influencer and powerlifter is facing battery charges, accused of injuring her boyfriend after the two got into a heated argument.

SCM, known as SC on social media with more than 1 million followers on Instagram, was arrested July 2.

According to a police report, C’s boyfriend told officers that C thought he had taken her cellphone and was trying to leave their home.

He told officers she allegedly started scratching him on his face, neck, chest, and stomach.

C told police that she never hit him and claimed that her boyfriend punched her.

However, investigators said they didn’t see any injuries on C and saw multiple injuries on her boyfriend.

The latest incident comes one year after C was previously arrested for allegedly hacking into her ex-boyfriend’s laptop, downloading nude pictures of another woman, then maliciously texting them in group chats.

In that case, C faced a list of charges, including sexual cyber harassment.

NBC6 reached out to C for a statement, and she responded that she wants to speak but can’t because of her criminal case.
