A nurse at University Behavioral Center is accused of sexual battery of a 16-year-old girl who was being treated there last month, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
F O-M, 33, faces charges of sexual battery with a child (custodial), sexual misconduct by a psychotherapist, unlawful sexual activity with certain minors and three counts of lewd and lascivious touching of certain minors, records show.
According to the affidavit for O-M’s arrest warrant, he began to flirt with the victim on June 27 after she was admitted the day prior under the Baker Act.
The victim recounted several times O-M allegedly took her into a bathroom and told her to get undressed before groping and kissing her, noting how she felt “frozen,” the affidavit states.
On June 28, the girl was alone when O-M allegedly approached her and told her to get into a bathroom with him again, where he’s accused of forcing her to perform a sex act, the affidavit states.
Another staff member reported O-M, according to the affidavit. The witness had seen the 33-year-old nurse pulling up his pants following the alleged sexual battery on June 28, investigators said.
After being confronted by the staff member, O-M reportedly said that he “blacked out” and denied touching or sexually battering the child, the affidavit states.
The girl was taken to Advent Health East as her family contacted the sheriff’s office, according to the affidavit.
O-M was booked Tuesday and was being held without bond in the Orange County Jail at the time of this report.
