A 41-year-old woman is dead after a shooting in Milton on Friday night.
The Sheriff’s office responded to the incident on Pinto Avenue, where they found the victim deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
The Major Crimes Unit secured the scene and launched an investigation.
47-year-old CMJ was arrested on charges of second-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail.

Deputies say the investigation remains active and ongoing.
