One person was rushed to the hospital after a shooting in Sunrise Saturday evening, according to police.
Sunrise police said it happened near Northwest 19th Street and 56th Avenue.
The person was shot by an unknown suspect, and then transported to Broward Health Medical Center, according to authorities.
Police also say the person was conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
