A woman is dead after being hit by a car inside the Winston Trails community on Monday morning.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, at around 9:30 a.m., a vehicle was driving southbound on N. Winston Trails Boulevard, making a left turn onto eastbound Winston Trails Boulevard, when 72-year-old Anna Wilczak stepped from the curb into the path of the vehicle.
Wilczak was taken to Delray Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.
