A driver was shot and killed Thursday afternoon in a Sanford road rage shooting, police said.
The fatal shooting happened around 5:20 p.m. at Vue on Lake Monroe apartments.
Sanford police said JAH was arrested on a charge of second-degree homicide with a firearm in connection to the shooting.
According to police, H and the other driver, whose name has not been released, got into an altercation while driving in the area of State Road 46 and Mangoustine Avenue.
The altercation ended at Vue on Lake Monroe, where H shot the victim, police said.
Officers were called to the scene, and fire officials took the shooting victim to a hospital, where the driver died a short time later, according to police.
H remained at the scene after the shooting, according to police.
Investigators said the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident between H and the other driver.
H was booked at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility.
