Human remains were found in a vehicle that was pulled out of a canal in Belle Glade on Thursday.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), at around 1:26 p.m. Sister’s Towing was conducting vehicle recoveries from the Miami Canal when it pulled a vehicle containing human remains from the canal bank.
The sheriff’s office says the details of the crash are unknown, but foul play is not suspected.
The vehicle identified as a 2015 Jeep was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office for the collection of the remains.
