A security investigator’s attempt to make a traffic stop in Homestead resulted in a car chase, leaving both vehicles badly damaged, officials said.
The incident happened in the area of Northwest Second Avenue and Eighth Street, early Sunday morning.
It is unclear how many people were injured and the extent of the damages.
The investigation is ongoing.
