An 8-year-old boy was flown to a hospital after falling off a pontoon boat Tuesday night, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said.
The boy was injured in the fall, but it’s unclear how.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single-vehicle incident on Lake Harris, FWC said.
It happened on the western side of Lake Harris near Venetian Gardens.
The child is in critical condition, FWC told WESH 2.
“This is an active investigation and there is no further information available currently,” FWC said.
