Missing Mobile teen charged after crashing grandparents' vehicle in Escambia County

 A previously missing 13-year-old Mobile, Alabama, teen faces criminal charges after crashing her grandparents’ vehicle in Escambia County on Wednesday.

Florida Highway Patrol says the teen’s grandparents reported her missing to Mobile Police after they woke up in the morning to find her and their vehicle gone.

The teen was found to have crashed her grandparent’s vehicle into a ditch on Pine Forest Road, according to FHP.

FHP says she was treated for minor injuries at the Pediatric Unit at Sacred Heart Hospital. Afterwards, she was released to her grandparents.
