Thursday, the City of Punta Gorda Fire Department responded to a mutual aid call for a barn fire at the corner of Cooper Street and Airport Road.
The city fire crew, in tandem with the Charlotte County Fire Department, acted quickly to contain and extinguish the fire.
Due to the rapid teamwork of both crews, there are no injuries reported.
