One man was killed and another injured in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Pompano Beach, authorities said.
Shortly before 2 p.m., 911 dispatchers with the Broward Sheriff’s Office received reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Northwest 10th Circle.
Deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Authorities said both were transported to a nearby hospital, where one of the victims was later pronounced dead. The condition of the second man is still unknown.
BSO Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the incident.
