A driver died following a three-vehicle crash in Polk County on Tuesday.
The crash happened at around 10 a.m. on Spirit Lake Road in Winter Haven, according to Polk County officials.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash was a Polk County Fire Rescue ambulance. Two of the crew members were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.
The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead. The driver of the third vehicle was not hurt.
Spirit Lake Road was closed for several hours after the crash and has since reopened.
