Pace woman seriously injured in crash with pickup truck after thrown from bike

 A 49-year-old Pace woman was seriously injured after a pickup truck hit her while on a bike Thursday night.

The crash happened on CR-197 and Church Street at 4:24 p.m.

The victim was traveling on the Southbound shoulder of CR-197 when she crossed into the path of a blue Chevrolet pickup.

She was hit from behind by the pickup truck. The impact threw her from the bike.

She was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital for her injuries.
