A man was killed Thursday in a crash on U.S. 301 in Sumter County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. near Webster.
According to troopers, a Ford F-350 was heading north on U.S. 301 when it crossed the center line near County Road 771 and hit a Dodge Grand Caravan, which then struck a Chrysler 300.
The Dodge Caravan driver, a 63-year-old Lacoochee man, died at the scene.
The other drivers, a 71-year-old Bushnell man and an 18-year-old Spring Hill man, were uninjured.
The crash shut down U.S. 301 for hours, but it later reopened just after 9 p.m.
