One person was sent to a hospital after a fiery crash in Brooksville that involved five cars.
The Hernando County Fire Rescue said the five-car pile-up happened at Cortez Boulevard and Winter Street.
The crash caused one vehicle to catch fire. Hernando firefighters said they worked quickly to knock down the blaze.
Three eastbound lanes, including a turning lane, were blocked as of 11 a.m.
Crews said drivers should expect major delays in the area until the crash is cleared.
