Fort Myers police responded to a shooting along Palm Avenue near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Sunday morning at approximately 3:43 a.m.
FMPD said one person was taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center as a trauma alert.
This remains an active investigation.
