The Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the suspect in the case, B. G., 36, was arrested Thursday in connection with the killing.
At the time, he was arrested on an attempted murder charge, but that charge is expected to be upgraded now that the victim has died.
According to BSO, deputies responded shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday to the 4400 block of Treasure Cove Drive, where they found a woman with multiple stab wounds.
She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
