A man died in a crash Wednesday morning in Putnam County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the crash happened around 5:25 a.m. on State Road 20, near Lake Shore Drive.
According to FHP, a 38-year-old man was driving an Arctic Cat side-by-side vehicle on the eastbound sidewalk of SR-20 when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle and entered the road.
Troopers said the side-by-side then overturned and rotated clockwise.
According to the crash report, the 38-year-old man, from Hawthorne, died at the scene.
His passenger, a 36-year-old man, also from Hawthorne, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
