Firefighters tackle fully involved blaze at Escambia County home on Georgia Drive

Firefighters were battling a blaze at an Escambia County home Wednesday evening.

Crews were out at a home on the 100 block of Georgia Drive. They responded around 6:30 p.m.

The county described the fire to be “fully involved.” The fire was out by 7:07 p.m. There were no injuries.

According to the county, no occupants were in the home. The home is considered a total loss.

The Bureau of Fire and Arson is investigating the cause.
