A woman was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being shot in Hollywood, according to police.
Officers were called to the area near the 300 block of North 61st Terrace around 12 p.m. and found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
Her injuries were described as non-life-threatening, and she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
