A man died, and another was arrested on Saturday following a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.
According to the Tampa Police Department, a man was riding a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle east on County Line Road E., heading toward Grand Hampton Dr. At the same time, a 2016 Nissan Rogue driven by Mauricus Labron Green, 50, was heading west and attempting to make a turn onto Grand Hampton Dr.
TPD reported that the SUV violated the motorcycle’s right of way and caused it to hit the front left of the vehicle.
The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died due to his injuries.
The Tampa Police Department said that Green showed signs of impairment and arrested him for DUI Manslaughter.
This remains an ongoing investigation and no further details are available.
