One person is dead, and four others were injured after a shooting that occurred at a Clearwater bar on Sunday.
According to a release, the Clearwater Police responded to a shooting just before 8 p.m. in the parking lot of Fuzzy’s Sports Bar & Grill, located at 1270 S. Highland Avenue.
At the scene, officers found one man dead in the parking lot, and four other victims were dropped off by a car at Morton Plant Hospital.
One person has been transferred to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital for treatment.
The release said that after dropping the injured parties off at the hospital, the car then fled the scene.
Based on a preliminary investigation, detectives do not believe this was a random act. There is no threat to the community
