The St. Cloud Police Department said a man on a scooter has died after he was hit by multiple vehicles on Saturday. None of those vehicles stopped after the collisions, authorities said.

Police are now asking for the public’s help with anyone who had details on what happened, and who may have struck the man.

What we know:

Police identified the man as 48-year-old Angel Sanchez.

Sanchez was on a “Razor-type scooter on or near Old Canoe Creek and Clay Whaley Road around 6 p.m. Saturday, police said. At some point, he was hit by multiple vehicles in the roadway.

Around the time of the crash, weather and driving conditions were not the greatest. It was dark and rainy. Police said it’s possible that those weather conditions were factors in the crash, and that some of those drivers may not have realized they hit someone.

Those who live in the area said the intersection where the crash happened is often busy, especially during rush hour.

What we don’t know:

St. Cloud Police have not released any information about potential suspects or vehicle descriptions.

What you can do:

St. Cloud Police did put out a post on Facebook asking for anyone with information on the crash to get in touch with them or Central Florida Crimeline.
