Pedestrian killed in Bay County

 A 60-year-old Georgia man has died after being hit by a truck Saturday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol it happened at around 6 p.m. on Highway 98 just east of Chip Seal Parkway.

Troopers say the driver of a white pickup truck was traveling westbound on Highway 98 when he hit the 60-year-old pedestrian who they say ran across the road without stopping for traffic.

He was pronounced dead on scene by Bay County EMS.
