One wounded in shooting at party in Gainesville, officers investigate

Officers are investigating a shooting that wounded one person early on Friday morning in Gainesville.

Gainesville Police Department officers say just after midnight, a 23-year-old man was shot in the 1000 block of Northeast 23rd Street while attending a party.

Officers say the man was shot in the leg. His injuries aren’t considered life-threatening.
