A man accused of hitting another man in Key West with a bag filled with beer bottles was arrested on Saturday, deputies said.
DBR, 56, was charged with aggravated battery.
According to authorities, deputies arrived at 15th Street in Marathon after receiving reports of a battery.
At the scene, the victim, a 61-year-old man, told deputies that R hit him in the head and forearm with three aluminum beer bottles that were in a plastic bag.
After reviewing security footage in the area, the victim’s account of what happened was corroborated.
Deputies later found R at a nearby bus stop, where he confessed to hitting the victim, and he was taken into custody.
