64-year-old PSL man succumbs to injuries after December crash in Jupiter

A Port St. Lucie man died weeks after deputies say his SUV was struck while turning across eastbound traffic on Indiantown Road in Jupiter.

According to a crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a Land Rover was traveling eastbound near the 9250 block of Indiantown Road in Jupiter on December 7 when a Ford Edge, driven by 64-year-old Michael Spack of Port St. Lucie, was exiting Sierra Square Plaza heading westbound.

As the Spack began to turn, deputies say he entered the eastbound lanes in the path of the Land Rover, which struck his car on the driver’s side.

All passengers of both cars, totalling four people, including children, were transported to Jupiter Medical Center for their injuries, per PBSO.

Spack, however, was in more critical condition and was reportedly transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center.

On Friday, over a month after the crash, Spack succumbed to his injuries, according to the crash report.
