The fire broke out at a home on Washburn Street around 9 p.m. Crews worked to extinguish the flames. They were dispatched at 9:11 p.m.
The county says the firefighter sustained fire-related injuries. They were transported to an area hospital. No one else was injured.
Crews are still on scene at this time. The cause for the fire has not been determined yet. But the State Fire Marshal has been notified.
