Martin County Fire Rescue responded to an incident on Sunday morning involving a child who had fallen off a moving golf cart.
Fire rescue said it received a call around 8 a.m. to go to the 200 block of Gomez Road in a residential area near the Jupiter Island Club between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean.
The child was taken by helicopter to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Fire rescue spokesman Corry Pippin later told WPBF it was later revealed that the child’s injuries were minor.
