CAPE CORAL, Fla. —

Some Cape Coral residents along East Gator Circle may wake up with no power after a hit-and-run crash knocked down a power pole Thursday morning.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, a truck crashed into a power pole and then rolled into a front yard, almost crashing into a house.

CCPD said the driver is currently nowhere to be found.

The crash caused multiple power outages in the area, per the Lee County Electric Cooperative website.
