Man arrested in St. Augustine stabbing

A St. Johns County man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he pulled a knife during a fight and stabbed another person last week.

On April 1, 2026, St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to South Woodlawn Street after receiving reports of a fight involving multiple people and a stabbing.

When deputies arrived, they located an adult male victim with a stab wound. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.

Through their investigation, detectives with the SJSO Major Crimes Unit identified a 37-year-old man, as the suspect. Investigators say he pulled a knife during the altercation and stabbed the victim.

The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, affray and violation of probation.
