A three-vehicle crash sent a car careening into a storefront at a shopping plaza next to the Edison Mall in Fort Myers Friday morning.
Video taken at the scene by a Gulf Coast News team shows a car crashed through the front entrance of a business at 4455 Cleveland Avenue, where an Optical Outlet is located.
The Gulf Coast News team reported that a tow truck is on scene working to remove the vehicle.
According to the Fort Myers Police Department, a crash occurred on the roadway between three cars. The force of the crash caused one car to be bumped across US-41 and into the building.
A building official from the City of Fort Myers said that this is the second time a car has crashed into the same business within the last two years.
FMPD said that one person sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
