The St. Petersburg Police Department said a 15-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on Friday morning.

The incident happened near the intersection of 9th Avenue North and 25th Street North at around 9:50 a.m. The location provided by SPPD is close to St. Petersburg High School, but it’s unknown if the teen is a student there.
