Two people were killed in a crash in Escambia County Wednesday morning.
It happened around 6:10 a.m. on Barrancas Avenue near Weis Lane.
Troopers say the car “failed to maintain its lane while negotiating a left-hand curve,” left the road and struck a concrete median divider and a tree before overturning.
The 49-year-old driver and his 26-year-old son — both from Pensacola — were pronounced dead on scene.
No further details have been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
