Three pedestrians struck in separate Walton County crashes

Three separate crashes involving pedestrians were reported in Walton County, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

The first happened in Santa Rosa Beach at Eden Drive and Dog-Hobble Lane, where a man who was running was struck by a vehicle.

A second crash involved a juvenile on a scooter near Moll Drive and Highway 98, causing traffic delays along Highway 98.

A third pedestrian was hit near Scenic Gulf Drive and Miami Street in Miramar Beach.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office said drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes if possible.
