Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire early Saturday morning in Ellenton.

According to the North River Fire District, crews were called to a working fire in the 4300 block of 12th Street Court East. Firefighters arrived on scene and began battling the fire alongside Manatee County Public Safety Department EMS.

Officials said crews got water on the fire and were assisting one patient at the scene.

The fire district later reported the situation was under control by 4:48 a.m.

No information about the patient’s condition has been released. The cause of the fire has not been announced.
