2 firefighters injured battling blaze at Northside Jacksonville home

Two members of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department were hospitalized Tuesday with minor injuries that they suffered while battling a house fire.

The fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. at a one-story home on Percy Creek Drive in the Northlake area of Jacksonville’s Northside.

JFRD said it’s unclear how many people have been displaced because of the fire, but the home sustained significant damage.

The firefighters are expected to be OK.
