A woman crossing 103rd Street on Jacksonville’s Westside was killed early Tuesday morning when she was hit by an SUV, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 2:20 a.m. on eastbound 103rd Street at Old Middleburg Road.
According to FHP, the woman, who was crossing 103rd Street in a marked pedestrian crosswalk, was hit by an SUV that had a green light at the time of the crash.
Troopers said the front of the SUV hit the woman, who had walked directly in front of the vehicle.
The Jacksonville man driving the SUV was wearing a seat belt and was not hurt. His age was also not indicated in the report.
