Motorcyclist dies in Washington County

A motorcyclist from Port St. Joe is dead after losing control on an off-road path in Washington County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened Saturday at 10:21 a.m. on 3700 Mobile Swamp Road.

The driver was heading uphill when he lost control of the motorcycle and overturned into a 6-foot-deep ditch.

The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
