A man was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition, according to the Palm Bay Police Department.

Police officers arrived at the scene on Malabar Road and Babcock Street on Tuesday, where they located an unresponsive woman.

It was determined that she was struck by a vehicle and was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the PBPD.
