Costco has reopened following an electrical fire that temporarily closed its doors on Thursday.

The Stuart Police Department says, per store management, only dry goods are available for purchase as the store’s refrigeration unit isn’t operational.

SPD said, the Costco at 3173 Kanner Highway experienced an electrical fire that has since been extinguished.

Shoppers and travelers were asked to avoid the area while the store was closed.
