Pickup truck wedged between tree and fence sends two to hospital

Ocala Fire Rescue responded to a serious crash involving a pickup truck that left two people sent to the hospital, according to crews on scene.

When firefighters arrived, the truck was wedged between a tree and a fence. Crews used hydraulic cutters and spreaders to extract both occupants from the vehicle.

One person was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The other was transported as a trauma alert patient.
