School bus involved in hit-and-run in Santa Rosa Beach

A school bus carrying 30 Butler Elementary students was rear-ended in a hit-and-run near Highway 98 and Dune Lakes Circle Monday afternoon.

No injuries were reported, and the bus safely pulled into a nearby neighborhood.

Authorities say they have identified the make and model of the car and are searching the area. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office says there is no road blockage at this time.
