1 arrested, 1 hospitalized after stabbing incident in Deerfield Beach

One woman was arrested and another woman was sent to the hospital after a stabbing attack in Deerfield Beach, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office authorities.

The incident happened near Northwest Third Avenue and West Hillsboro Boulevard.

According to Broward Sheriff’s Office officials, a woman was arrested early Saturday morning.

Authorities said that the event was reported at 3:45 a.m., when deputies arrived to the scene and found an adult woman suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for non life threatening injuries.

BSO detectives are currently investigating the incident.
