Traffic Alert: Multi-vehicle crash blocks one southbound lane on I-95 at University Blvd.

One lane on Interstate 95 south near the University Boulevard exit is blocked due to a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP said the crash involved three vehicles, including a semitruck.

According to FHP, a driver of a Honda Fit made an improper lane change, causing it to hit the semi. The impact then caused the semi to hit the barrier wall and crash into another vehicle.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was also seen at the crash site.

Drivers should use caution in the area.
