1 injured in shooting following argument on Lake Avenue in Lehigh Acres

One person was injured in a shooting after an argument between two parties on Lake Avenue in Lehigh Acres early Tuesday.

Gulf Coast News crews saw five deputy vehicles on Lake Avenue and East 5th Street.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began as an argument between two parties, which then escalated to a shooting. One person sustained a non-life-threatening injury and is being treated at a hospital.

Gulf Coast News has reached out to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office to learn if any arrests have been made.
