2 killed, 2 critically hurt in head-on crash on Old Boynton Road

Two people were killed, and two others were critically injured after a head-on crash on Old Boynton Road around 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said 28-year-old L was driving a Dodge Charger westbound in the outside lane just west of Calliandra Drive when she lost control and crossed into the eastbound lanes.

A BMW traveling eastbound then collided head-on with the Charger, according to the crash report.

L and 32-year-old M, of Lake Worth Beach, a passenger in the BMW, died from their injuries.
