A male deputy was taken to the hospital after a crash near Pine Forest Road and Bush Street, north of the interstate, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m.
The deputy sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to ECSO.
